You finally decide to cut down on all the junk food and fizzy drinks from your life and schedule a workout plan with a well thought out diet plan but even after days, months and even years, you’re still struggling with weight issues and low energy levels. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one having this particular issue, a lot of it is down the wrong eating habits which even include healthy food items, here are a few famous healthy foods that can have the opposite effect if taken wrongly:
Coconuts- nut all the time
Coconut is a very high calorie food and coconut oil has the similar amount of calories as any other type of oil. It has almost 80 percent of saturated fat and specially if added with any type of fruit. In comparison, butter has less saturated fat. Saturated fat can prove to be a big factor in affecting your cholesterol levels and causing heart diseases.
Miso not so miso after all
Miso soup has always been a favorite for people watching their weight and diet. Made out of fermented soya beans which is known for lowering breast cancer risks. While that is true, the salt content of miso can be harmful for your abdominal. It raises blood pressure and can cause a bloated stomach.
Dark chocolate- dark effects
Chocolate follows one simple rule, darker chocolates have less sugar but more polyphenol which can be disastrous for your cholesterol levels.
While these food items are not the worst thing to consume, but avoiding them most of the time can be helpful in losing weight. If you do go on to consume them then be sure to re arrange your workout plan accordingly. Remember, too much of anything will always hurt you at the end of the day.
